Work With Us
1:1 Nutrition Therapy
You are worthy of peace and ease with food

Initial Session
Duration: 90 minutes
We honour that our initial session together may be the first time you are sharing your food and body story with another human. Our intention is to offer a compassionate and affirming space for you to land and feel supported through your journey. This includes exploring the parts of your food and body story that you’re ready to share. We will also discuss the level of support you need and what you are hoping to get out of our work together.
Follow Up Sessions
Duration: 60 minutes
In these sessions, we will learn and unlearn together. We will work to understand what barriers exist in you being able to have a more peaceful relationship with food and body, and will work through these barriers together at a pace that honours your capacity. Through this process, we aim to help you nourish yourself in a way that comes with more peace and ease.
Our follow up sessions are intentionally scheduled for 60 minutes, which is longer than the typical duration you might have experienced elsewhere. This extended time allows us to dive deeper into your unique needs and challenges in healing your relationship with food.
Rather than addressing surface-level concerns, we want to understand the root of the disruption you have experienced in your relationship with food and body. We strive to support you in a way that goes beyond advice, handouts or meal plans, and truly honours what healing means to you. Healing from disruption in your food relationship is a process that takes time and capacity, and you are worthy long term support.
We have a limited number of reduced cost nutrition therapy spots. Members of marginalized communities will be prioritized, as well as anyone experiencing financial hardship.

Our Approach
We are a team of space holders who listen to our clients’ food and body stories.
Many of our clients have shared with us that nutrition therapy is a completely different experience than what they expected from a dietitian, but that it’s exactly what they have needed. At TNC, we embrace a weight-inclusive, anti-oppressive approach.

We offer both bundle or individual session pricing. The nature of our work with clients often leads to longer term therapeutic relationships, and bundles provide a cost saving option to our clients. By working together over time, we can create more sustainable practices to support you through your healing journey.
If paying for individual sessions is most accessible, the initial session is $275, and follow up sessions are $185.

As weight-inclusive dietitians, we strive to provide the same level of care to all humans. We do not believe that your health is directly linked to your weight, and we actively work to dismantle the idea that you “just need to lose weight” in order to improve your health and well-being. We acknowledge that many folks have been harmed by weight stigma and anti-fat bias through conventional medical care, and we actively work to push back against these systems. Working with a weight-inclusive dietitian means that we will support you in figuring out how to care for yourself with compassion and gentleness regardless of your size.
-
As a team of providers, we acknowledge the privileges that we hold, and how they impact the lens of how we see and experience the world. In alignment with our values, we are working on unlearning and relearning, and figuring out how we can help dismantle systems of oppression. We honour and respect the intersectionality of all humans, approach care from the lens that our primary role is to listen and hold space for our client’s stories.
